  • Nikoo Nooriyan

Nikoo Nooriyan, born 1993 in Tehran, Iran, pursued her education at Tehran’s Sooreh Art University acquiring a degree in Handicrafts (specializing in Persian Miniature) while simultaneously learning jewelry-making, design, sculpture, and analytical drawing.

Her passion for research led her to explore the art of Persian miniature and the poems of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh, particularly its mythological, heroic, and cultural narratives. Drawing inspiration from these painting sources, combined with her own imagination, she began creating designs that ultimately evolved into contemporary jewelry pieces reflecting these themes.

Furthermore, her personal emotional experiences also serve as a profound source of inspiration, influencing her creations, which emerge in a floating, dreamlike ambience.

Her works have been showcased in several exhibitions and events, including the Contemporary Jewelry Open Call at Aria Gallery, the Abgineh Museum of Tehran, Florence Jewelry Week, Tehran Jewelry Design Week, Idil Gallery in Istanbul, Linda Farrel Gallery in Paris, and the VN Art Residency in Zurich.
